When travelling in Australia, I spent Christmas is Sydney with a couple friends. The experience was amazing and Sydney is worldwide known by their amazing fireworks and for creating a magical night for NYE.
As explained in Sydney, Travelling there was amazing. However, I started to get homesick and miss spending time with my loved ones. So as my mum always says, “when you feel down try helping others, it will cheer you up and keep your soul sane”. So that’s what I did when I signed up to help the Ted Noffs Foundation to reunite and pack Christmas Gifts for kids.
If anyone who is backpacking starts to feel the same way, I urge you to try it, to sign-up and volunteer for some event or a cause you feel passionate about, it is a brilliant way to clear your mind, put your priorities in place and enjoy the present moment.
