As much as I’d like to say I remember, I was too young to even acknowledge I was there. My sister is actually american, born in Florida, but by the time my parents took us there, I was probably 1 year old and missed the whole thing. However, it’s still in my list to visit (live) there one day.
I lived here with my family when growing up. However, memories have started to fade years ago, and the only ones I still remember have been helped by photos and memories we have around the house. However, as I was still so young, I cannot really give any good advice or experience lived there. Only lots of family pics of us having the best time.
Seems unfair to say I’ve visited Russia. I only stayed there the night and couldn’t even move from the airport. However, signalling Russia gives me a chance to explain the experience I had to deal with the Airline Aeroflot while I was there. I had to stop in Moscow in order to get to China. On the way back, Aeroflot dismissed my flight number and without further notice changed the flight door.
Unfortunately I missed my flight because of it, and two other travellers did so too. The company took responsibility and told us we could fly the next day, however they did not provide anywhere to stay the night, and provided us with the rudest staff to explain the situation.
As a passenger I had the right to claim to stay somewhere for the night, but after 2 hours arguing and trying to explain I had nowhere to stay, I ended up sleeping on a bench, and just hoping for the night to go quick so I could get back home. If at least the Customer Service was appropriate, I wouldn’t have minded, but the way they were talking to us made us feel unwelcomed and helpless. Not a good review for the Airline, so if you ever travel, avoid their flights.
